April 24 : The Second Sino-French Academic Seminar was successfully held

In order to further promote academic exchange between China and France, enhance the college’s international academic atmosphere, and deepen international cooperation, the Sino-French College successfully held the Second Sino-French Academic Seminar on the afternoon of April 24, 2025. The theme of the seminar was “Forecasting and Advanced Modeling”, and it was attended by college leadership, faculty members, and four international experts from France and Greece.

The seminar focused on cutting-edge topics such as emergency disaster risk prediction models, machine learning algorithm optimization, the application of 3D printing in building restoration, and predictive technologies for autonomous driving. It also highlighted the latest developments in international academic research. Faculty members engaged in academic exchanges with international experts, with discussions centered on the college’s global development and professional program enhancement. The on-site discussions were dynamic, fostering a strong academic atmosphere.

This seminar strengthened the college’s ties with academic communities in France and Greece, laying a solid foundation for future scientific research collaboration, academic exchange, and talent development. The college will also take the "China-France Academic Seminar" thematic series as an opportunity to further develop a high-level platform for international exchange and cooperation, actively promote the advancement of academic disciplines and programs, and contribute meaningfully to the school’s internationalization strategy and its key objective of “striving for a doctorate and greater success.”
