Advanced Modeling and Control
The main research focuses of this group are Finite Element Modeling under vibrational, dynamic, fatigue, and thermo-static loading conditions. Structures are often built using advanced LiDAR-embedded technologies to interface with both FE models and machine learning software. The group also emphasizes multiscale property characterization (meso-macro approach) and data analysis derived from non-destructive testing (NDT) facilities.
