Prof. David Bassir, Director of the Smart Structural Health Monitoring & Control (SSHMC) Lab and professor affiliated with ENS Paris-Saclay, UTBM, and Le Cnam delivered the keynote “Contribution of AI and Machine Learning for Prediction of Maintenance under Digital Twin” at the 3rd International Conference on Cyberspace Simulation and Evaluation (CSE 2024), held in Shenzhen, China, from 26 to 28 November 2024. His presentation outlined SSHMC’s vision for applying data-driven tools to anticipate maintenance needs in complex structures.

The conference fostered a productive exchange of ideas among Chinese and international experts in digital twin technology, simulation, and evaluation. SSHMC’s involvement deepens these dialogues and lays the groundwork for future collaborations aimed at building safer, more resilient infrastructure.
